This week's project is a Walnut and copper cutting board or serving board, perfect for those charcuterie or cheese trays for your next party! Full build video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zaj9X-T5K0c
This is a great little project, Johnny! I love the use of the copper around the outside edge. Just watched the video on your channel :)

Walnut is considered a toxic wood so be sure to seal it good, just saying
nice looking job

Walnut is NOT a toxic wood, and has been used for hundreds of years is cutting boards.

Walnut is toxic but only if your a horse - not for humans so for example you don’t want any walnut sawdust used in the stall of a horse as bedding - for humans walnut is not toxic at all - just thinking maybe this where that person is confusing Walnut being toxic with ? Just guessing.

The board looks fantastic. I am having an issue with the link on the YouTube channel for the copper. Would you please post the link once again. Thanks!

Walnut, Teak and several other 'exotic' hardwoods are modestly toxic if inhaled or ingested. This is a bigger problem for people doing fine sanding. Eating off a prepared board or bowl should not be an issue.

Death is very toxic! Refrain from coming into contact with it… these California Prop people drive me nuts.
